First T-Ball game

The boys had their first t-ball game on Monday night and it was fabulous!!!

How cute is this?!?!

James' first ever at bat. I'm so sad it's blurry.
Jack's first ever at bat! Unfortunately, still a little blurry. Don't worry, I got wise to not taking pictures through the fence.

We're ready to field some baseballs!
We really had to work on keeping "your eyes on the ball". Apparently there are a lot of other things to look at at a t-ball game.

Yea!! Jack got on base!!
Sticking your tongue out while running really fast seems to be a family trait.

And!

after getting out his first three times,James,

made it to first base!

Whew!!! It would have been rough if he didn't make it all the way around the bases all 4 tries.
You might think this is a picture of James waiting to catch a pop fly. You would be wrong! He is trying to shoo a bug! He got that bug good though!

I'm really loving this t-ball thing!!!

Easter 2012

What a great Easter/Birthday/Three day weekend!!!

Even though it was just one day off, it really seemed like a nice long break!

Seriously!?!?! When did she get so big? This was right before the annual Chuckett Easter Egg Hunt.
Caroline had her own little egg patch.
And she did a good job collecting them and putting them in her basket.

I think the boys would like to go pro in Easter Egg hunting.

All the cousins with their loot.

She's become quite the poser :)! I have about 4 shots in a row exactly like this. She just held the pose until I put my camera down.

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” Matthew 28:5-7

Little League Opening Ceremonies

The boys had their T-Ball Opening Ceremonies yesterday. They were so excited to go out in their uniforms. Of course we had to get a couple pictures before we went. I know it's obvious what these poses are but just in case you are wondering for some strange reason . . .

This is how a baseball man holds a bat . . . with his glove on . . . and his legs crossed.
This is how a baseball man catches a ball . . . and protects himself with his other hand . . . just in case!
This is how two baseball men use teamwork to catch two balls coming at them.
Again with holding a bat with a glove on.
Um . . . not really sure about this one!
It was really hard to get no "baseball" pose!

Walking to meet their coach at Olsen Field. I love the walking away shots.
All the teams walked around the park and were introduced by the MC. Our team was first and the boys were SO proud of themselves.

Then they walked around and stood on 3rd base throughout the ceremony. They found us in the crowd . . .

They were so cute waving with their hats . . .
and putting their hats over their hearts during the National Anthem . . .
Coach Childress threw out the first pitch.
And then we went to pick-up our baseball men!

Such a fun night!!!
